We welcome, for the first time ever on Skyline Radio, an artist which we cherish and appreciate – Stevie Face. An artist whose first big impression in the reggae industry was his cover version of ‘In The Living Years’ ‘In the Living Years’
This is a massive tune here in the UK. So far, we have also enjoyed a string of cover hits from Stevie including the mellow ‘I Wanna Wake Up With You’
and ‘Still Haven’t Found’
In 2014 Stevie Face released his debut album ‘My Time’ including tracks like ‘Cyah Go Round It’
as well as a string of delicious original tracks, definately worthwile the time to investigate and add to your collection.
After a lengthy 5 year absence from the music scene we eagerly anticpate talking to the man himself to find out what’s been going on, how he is finding his return to the scene and what he has in store for us in the near future. So far in 2019 Stevie Face has released 4 tunes to date, all big vocal hits. The first, ‘My Prayer’
is a beautiful gospel song followed by another powerful gospel tune called ‘I Feel Blessed’
This leads us to want to know whether there is a gospel album in the making?
Also, during the summer Stevie’s dropped his brilliant cover version of a song famously performed by Phil Collins called ‘Against All Odds’. This track is popular with all degrees of listeners. In October 2019 he rereleased his song ‘You’re A Winner’ on the Moonlight Riddim track. Originally released in 2012, its no suprise that it is now get deserved exposure, as it’s a massively underated tune!
